Louisa Jane Thrower: was born in 1817, died on 23rd December 1838 aged 21 and was buried on 23st December. Whilst this is only speculation, as she is inscribed on the same headstone as Samuel and Sarah, it is possible that she was James, the second son’s wife, as James is shown on the 1841 Census as living with his parents and Alfred (their son?) aged 4. Perhaps she died in childbirth given that ages in the 1841 census were only approximate.
