Samuel Fake Jnr: was born in 1839, to Samuel and Mary (née Groom), married in 1865 (wife unknown) and died in December 1878 aged jut 39 years old. He continued his father’s business of wheelwright in what is now known as Austin Close, and is mentioned in the various Trade Directories of the day up until The Post Office Directory of 1875. Just prior to his death, a notice was placed in the Bury Free Press of September 28th 1878 advertising the business implying that Samual was ill, close to death and died just 2 months later. His business was purchased by Peter Stevens from Walsham le Willows until his death in 1919.
