George Mayhew: was born on 3rd August 1795 in Gosbeck to Samuel Mayhew (1752-1810) and Ann Orford (1756 -), died on 22nd January 1864 aged 69 and was buried on 28th January. As far as we can tell, he was not married and during his lifetime was a Farmer of 311 acres at Tiptoff’s Farm, Wyverstone Road.
