George Edward Payne: was born in 1823, died May 1912 aged 89 and was buried on 25th May. He was a Justice of the Peace for Suffolk and also a Farmer of 300 acres at (Chapel Farm and Landowner who lived at Badwell Ash Hall with his sister Henrietta Maria. George Edward Payne was born in Hepworth, where his father, Edward was rector. She was one of four children.
