Sarah Thrower: was born in 1779 as Sarah Heard in Halstead, Essex, died on 19th July 1862 aged 83 and was buried on 24th July. She was married Samuel Thrower though their marriage date is unknown. They had six children, Samuel Stephen (1805-1876), James (1807- ), Harriet (1809-1881), Robert (1811-1812), William (1811-1854) and Sarah (1813-1814). Sarah’ parents were William Heard and Elisabeth Blackborough. However, no further information could be obtained from the either the headstone or as a result of further research.
